ShipStation Web Platform

ShipStation is one of the larger multi-carrier shipping platforms used by online retailers and marketplaces. While at Innostax I worked as Project Lead on a multi-quarter engagement to integrate new carrier APIs and harden the existing module surface.

• Integrated 15+ shipping-carrier modules behind a unified internal API; designed the request/response shape so adding a new carrier didn't require touching consumers.
• Cut iteration cycles by ~20% by tightening the review/test loop and standardising the carrier-module shape across the team.
• Stabilised the platform with Jest/Mocha coverage on the integration layer — reduced regression defects by ~20%.
• Led a team of seven and onboarded five new engineers; established the carrier-module pattern as the standard for new integrations.
